Beautiful view from my Deluxe Double Room Sea View! The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi signal during my stay.

What an absolutely lovely place to stay! The welcome tea and homemade scones on arrival were a delightful surprise that instantly made me feel at home. The breakfast was beautifully presented and featured unique offerings, like the porridge with whiskey-soaked raisins, which was simply unforgettable!
100% recommend 😊❤️

The architecture and interior design make for a visually stunning stay, especially with rooms like 'The Oyster Catcher' offering comfortable beds and a cozy seating area. Breakfast is a real treat with a wide menu, including a unique porridge with whiskey, and you can't beat the peaceful location at the end of a no-thru road.
The Heron suite's bathroom isn't ensuite, which may be a bit of a hassle since it's in a communal area accessed with a key. Some rooms may not offer ideal views. for instance, if you're after scenery, double-check your room choice because some, while spacious, face less appealing aspects. internet speed and room temperature have room for improvement, and guests have mentioned a need for more power outlets to charge devices comfortably.

A Charming Getaway with Stunning Views
We had an amazing two-night stay with breathtaking views of the Firth of Clyde from our room. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring a delicious array of locally sourced options that were beautifully presented. Catriona's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, with thoughtful touches like tea and homemade scones upon arrival and each detail in our room, from the cozy linens to the fluffy robes, added to our enjoyment. The only downside was wishing we could have stayed even longer!

Recommend it for families seeking comfort
From the moment we walked in, the owner was as warm as a seasoned chemist in a perfect reaction. She greeted us with lovely homemade scones and tea, setting the tone for our stay, and the room? It was cozy with a bay window that overlooked the serene waters, just what you need to relax after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but honestly, worth every penny.

The Deluxe Double Room was super comfy with a cozy bed and great storage. I loved the bay window seats that gave an amazing view of the River Clyde. Just a slight downside was some scuff marks on the walls that could use a touch-up. But honestly, the quality of the linens and the room vibe made up for it.
